On Sunday we went the New Scientist live event at the Excel Centre in East London. We had a fantastic day, seeing the Bloodhound SSC a supersonic car which hopefully is going set a new land speed record of 1000mph, the new Tesla car, Virtual reality headsets, we snacked on bugs at the pestaurant (yummy!), The esa had an exhibition there all about the iss and the probe Rosetta, the girls went to a talk on how the Egyptians used metal from meteorites for jewelry and I went to Lewis Hartnell’s talk on what to do after an apocalypse. A fascinating day out.
