My birthday was on a Thursday this year so K and I took the day off and went to Woodbridge for the day. We parked at Kyan Hill just outside and walked into the town along the river.
First port of call was a cafe for a muffin and a coffee and then we went into the Longshed which is The Sutton Hoo Saxon ship build where they are recreating King Rædwalds burial chamber. It’s so cool to watch them working on it using traditional methods it must be an amazing project to be involved in.
After the Longboat we headed to The Anchor for lunch. K had haddock and I had a minute steak with blue cheese and Guinness butter followed by a blackcurrant Bakewell tart, so good!
