Star Trek
This is an excellent story about the lives of James T. Kirk and Spock, before they unite aboard the USS Enterprise. It really focuses on Spock, his early life and his feud with Nero, the Romulan from the future who threatens the United Federation of Planets. The film is superb, it looks fantastic, the story Continue reading

Camp Bestival
Really fancy going to the Camp Bestival. I don’t think we’ll go this year, as its quite expensive, (it would be £273 for us to go including weekend camping!). But that said, there is loads to do and it does look really good. Continue reading

Body of Lies
Not a bad film, in fact its quite tense in some places but the story is confusing and complicated. I found myself thinking “skip to the end” about halfway through. The best thing about this film is Mark Strong playing Hani Salaam, the head of the Jordanian Intelligence, his performance is really compelling. Girls will Continue reading

Doves – Cambridge
Had a great night with the Doves last night. They were brilliant, and the new songs sounded fantastic live. The only thing was the crowd, although there was plenty of head nodding and cheering but in typical southern fashion they just didn’t let themselves go which was a shame as the band really went full Continue reading
