Thankfully Mum is now nearing the end of her chemotherapy. Well done Mum – just Continue reading

Man on a Ledge
Escaped convict Nick Cassidy climbs onto a ledge of a skyscraper and threatens to jump, causing a diversion while his brother commits a robbery to clear Nicks name. Its alright, the plot is pretty daft and if it wasn’t for the fact he’s dangling off a building it would be completely unexciting. Leave it until Continue reading

Good Weekend
Went to Wembley Stadium to Watch Saracens v Leicester with Wilko on Saturday afternoon. It was a good if low scoring game (they drew 9 – 9). The Saracens would have won but Owen Farrell had a rubbish day missing 4 out of 5 penalties but at least the sarries remain unbeaten. Hatty and Lewis Continue reading

Tony Scott
So sad to hear of the death of Tony Scott who directed some of the best actions films of the 80’s & 90’s. Particularly “True Romance” Which is probably my favourite film of all time. I don’t know how many times I have watched it. Here is a link to the Sicilian scene in-between Dennis Continue reading

The Dark Knight Rises
Eight years after taking the responsibility for the death of Harvey Dent, Batman’s self-imposed exile comes to an end with the arrival of Bane a ruthless killer who wants control of Gotham. This is a big, sprawling movie and I think the best in the series. Bane is a great villain, ruthless and captivating to Continue reading

Anglesey Abbey
Had a day out at Anglesey Abbey on Wednesday. Its great to see The National Trust getting more geared up for kids.
