Emma’s wonderful head teacher closed the school for a long weekend so we hired a cottage in Winterton, Norfolk. It was a lovely place, less than 5 minutes walk from the beach. On the way up on Friday we stopped near Wroxham and cycled the Bure Valley Railway path which was very good. Although, we didn’t do the train ride back as it was £30 0ne way! For the rest of the weekend we didn’t use the car at all, we just hung out on the beach and at the house and went for a little bike ride. A very relaxing weekend!

Wow! Looks like Waimari Beach. Just been there with Rufus – our new dog – for his first walk. He absolutely loved it. It’s so warm here at the moment, it’s haed to believe it’s actually deepest winter!
