Five years on and the vikings are living and working with the dragons. Hiccup and Toothless, who are exploring and mapping the area, discover dragon trappers, who are capturing dragons for Drago, a warmonger who is amassing a dragon army. AS they return to Berk, they meet a mysterious dragon rider who has created a sanctuary for dragons rescued from Drago. On hearing about Drago, Hiccups father Stoick wants to go to war, but Hiccup wants to confront him and persuade him not to goto war.
Emma and I really enjoyed this film. We recently watched the first one again and I found the second to be a better, more moving story. The costumes and dragons look fantastic and there are some great new characters. The animation is amazing, a thoroughly good film for all ages.
