Emmas has finished School! All the exam stress is over, apart from, of course, the results, which are due out in mid August.
She has worked so hard, diligently revising everyday.
The exams all went ok apart from the last one in RS which was really tough.
She has had her leavers dinner and last night we went to watch her sing in the Summer Concert. It was a lovely evening despite the 30 degree + temperatures we have been enduring this week.
Junior strings were as always a joy (!) Some of her friends did a fantastic rendition of “Hello” from the “Book of Mormon” and for me the best part of the show was when they all performed a medley of songs from Les Miserables which they held at the school November last year.
It was really moving to watch her friend, Jamie, sing “Bring him home” and “Do you hear the people sing” which are my favourite songs from the play and a reminder of how much they all enjoyed staging that play.
Her last two years at Sixth form at CRGS have been amazing for Emma. She has thoroughly enjoyed her time there. I have no doubt that the last two years have been best years of her time at school.
